Welcome to My CK Mental Map Blog!

To get the best from using this site, my suggestion is that you scroll through the posts as they are (random). In my opinion, the constant switching from one subject or concept to another as you move from post to post will further prepare you for what you will encounter on the exam and in real life.

I find that having some words in highlight subconsciously imprints them on my mind, thus the appearance of some words or phrases in bold type.

Mnemonics don't work very well for me except if the words of the mnemonics are related to the concept I'm trying to memorise. I've come up with some which are typed in italics.

For most of us, the USMLE represents a fulcrum in our lives and passing the steps will be a life changing achievement. We are thus constantly in search of materials: books, courses, websites, videos, tools, tutorials... anything to push that score further . For me, the CK step is over. I used this blog and it helped me so I'm leaving it up for anyone who would find it useful.
